SUNDAY 25 MAY, 2025 Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park
Please join us to celebrate our special day
Carl and Margareth met at The Polar Bear Club in Soho, London in January 1998. They exchanged landline numbers and started dating. Their relationship grew and they remained together even after Margareth's working visa expired in December 1998 and she moved back to Canada... both of them unsure if the move would be temporary or permanent.
Carl took Margareth to Venice on holiday and proposed marriage to her on the Rialto Bridge (see photo). They planned to live together in the UK and got married in Ledbury, England on February 18th, 2000.
They lived in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire for five years before moving to London. They moved to Kingston upon Thames in 2006 and their only daughter Carissa was born a year later.
The three of them still live in Kingston, particularly close to Richmond Park. Pembroke Lodge and Richmond Park is a special place for Carl, Margareth and Carissa as they have all spent countless hours walking, running and cycling through the park and enjoying the views from the top of Richmond Hill at the Pembroke Lodge Cafe.
We hope that you too will find this place as special as we do and enjoy your time with us celebrating our 25 years together.
